Our product is our lifeblood, and we need a QA Engineer to help us build and maintain a world-class platform that our users love. Your main goal will be to ensure that our product lives up to its hype and is of the highest quality before it ships.
What we’re looking for
- At least 3 years’ experience working as a quality assurance analyst or engineer in a product development environment
- Understanding of Agile methodology and principles
- Experience with bug tracking and reporting tools like JIRA, Confluence
- Experience with open source test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium or JMeter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical, decision-making, attention to details and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with test case management tools and creating test plans
What you’ll do
- Prepare, write and execute test plans to ensure new functionality delivers to the highest standard based on initial requirements
- Manage test and staging environments that facilitate thorough testing under real-world and hypothetical conditions
- Relentlessly promote quality across the entire development lifecycle
- Constantly innovate and improve our QA process with the use of automation and introduction of time-saving approaches and controls
- Develop and report on key metrics related to software quality and testing
You’ll get major brownie points if…
- You have relevant QA qualifications or certifications
- You have experience using qTest
- You have knowledge of performance and load testing approaches and tools
- You have software development experience
