We are thrilled to announce that Vearsa was named the second fastest growing technology company in Ireland in the Deloitte 2015 “Fast 50” index.
The Fast 50 measures growth within indigenous tech companies over a four-year period. With a 3,007% growth rate, Vearsa was the runner up to Dublin-based commerce firm eShopWorld in a field of technology companies that cumulatively generated €480m in total annual revenues in 2014.
Vearsa (formerly ePubDirect) underwent a major rebrand this year to reflect the company’s evolution from ebook distributor to an enterprise software company using Big Data to tackle book publishers’ most pressing issues. With a solid global customer base of over 500 publishers, including several of the industry’s major houses, and a growth rate of over 3,000%, Vearsa has emerged as an industry leader. Vearsa launched a new product, Tracker, which provides major publishers daily downloads of data, availability status, and key insights for millions of titles, and is poised for major growth in 2016.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by Deloitte’s Fast 50, and it is truly an honor to be ranked alongside such bold and innovative companies,” said Vearsa founder and CEO Gareth Cuddy. “It has been a banner year for Vearsa, one that exemplifies the vast opportunities that arise when you merge smart technology with publishing know-how.”
